There are some tactics that have worked for online marketing and still do.  They’re not that complicated but they are tried and true.

Tip #1:

Use unique web pages to promote each products separately!  Do Not jumble them all together.  They will lose credibility tossed together.  Separately, you can focus on the uniqueness of each product and thereby promote in a better light.

If you have access to product reviews – Use Them!  Visitors to your website or your squeeze page, want to be informed and want as much information as possible for them to make an intelligent decision on products.  If you have reviews from individuals, please be sure you have their permission to use their names/photos and their reviews first.

Tip #2:

Offer your readers a Free Report before the purchasing product.  By offering a free report that is in the same theme and is valuable information – this could lead readers to understanding why this product is worth purchasing!

Note: Most research shows that a sale is usually made on or around the 5th to 7th contact with the reader.

Focus on Important attributes to this products – Do Not Sales Pitch!  Include compelling subjects in your emails and Avoid the word FREE.  This word is interpreted as Spam and many email carriers will send these emails to a spam folder! So, Don’t Use the Word FREE.

Convince your readers that signed up for your no cost report that they will really be missing out on something big if they do not get this product.

Tip #3:

Get Traffic that is targeted to your product!  Your website should compliment what you are selling.  In other words, if you are selling car parts, why would you list a product on your Pets Blog?? The People visiting your blog for pets are Not interested in car parts! Period.  They will see this product punch and leave.  They probably will not come back.

Write articles for E-Zine that compliments your product, shows that you have extensive knowledge in this product and will be happy visit your site for more information.  Keep in mind, one out of a thousand will more than  likely buy your product.

These tips are just a few highlighted actions that work.  They are not difficult and can bring about some very good results for you.

Try using them in various marketing programs for great results!

Three Things All Affiliate Marketers Need to Survive Online:

Every affiliate marketer is always looking for the successful market that gives the biggest paycheck. Sometimes they think it is a magic formula that is readily available for them. Actually, it is more complicated than that. It is just good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication.

There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate marketing world of today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing online.

What are these three tactics?

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. If you have a blog, most hosting places will allow you to have sub-domains.  Make each individual blog unique to the niche you are promoting.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can for them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive, compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more and/or contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page so they will want to find out more.

2. Offer free reports to your readers. If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create auto responder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By sending useful information to their emails at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they might want is getting ready to close. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch.

Focus on important points like how your product can make lives  easier and more enjoyable.  Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word “free” in your title, as there are still older spam filters that dump those kind of contents into the junk before anyone has a chance to read them. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing out on something big if they do not get this.

3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. If someone visits your website and has no interest in your product, they will move on and never come back.  Write articles for publication on Ezine. This way you can locate publications that are focusing on your target customers and what you write  might just grab their interest.  Click HERE for a list of 5 other places you can submit your articles to.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, between 300-500 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day.

Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, you can make 10 sales based on the average statistic.

The steps mentioned are not difficult to carryout. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.

Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs. You can end maintaining a good source of income and surviving in this business that not all marketers can do.

To Your Success,

Ellen

Season’s Greetings!

Wishing All A Safe & Joyous Holiday Season!

The Need Tools For Affiliate Marketing:

- An Autoresponder
- A Blog or Website
- Products

A Blog Site: I, personally, chose to set up a good blog site vs. and expensive website with a lot of bells and whistles.  Let me say why:  A Good Blog with proper keywords and great posts will drive traffic to your blog as well, if not in some cases, better than a full blown site.  What are you using the site for?  You are using it to advertise your Affiliate Programs, right?  You don’t need shopping carts, colors, shapes and sizes of merchandise, etc.  And a Blog is a much less expensive avenue for starting an Affiliate Marketing business.

AutoResponders: “Autoresponders are often used as e-mail marketing tools, to immediately provide information to their prospective customers and then follow-up with them at preset time intervals.”-Wikipedia.org

The Advantages and Disadvantages

Advantages:

Affiliate Marketing offers the Merchant a huge market to sell their products and services.  It provides merchants with more customers and will create more sales. This goes with not spending valuable time searching for prospects and it’s a lower cost to them.

For the Affiliate, this is the kind of business that is relatively easy to do and and create some nice money.  Most Merchants have banners, text links and even newsletters that the affiliate can take advantage of in their advertising.

The Advantage to the Customer is obvious.  They get the Answer to Their Particular Problem very quickly by visiting the Affiliate’s Website/Blog.  Once again, this comes back to the Affiliate doing their homework on that particular product and believing this is an excellent opportunity or product to sell!

Disadvantages:

Some affiliates just want the money and really don’t care if the product is a complete scam or not.  They make false claims, false advertising and mislead the customers in order to get that commission.  When this happens, it’s the Merchant that suffers from the complaints and looses the customer for sure.  Affiliates that operate this way, will be sifted out sooner or later and Merchants just won’t deal with them.  Keep in mind, as large as the Internet is – it’s still a small enough community that “word gets around”.

My advise, keep your nose clean, tell the truth, do not sell something you just don’t believe in.

This can also happen in reverse.  The Affiliate chooses a product that has a great writeup, seems like a wonderful business opportunity, product or service.  After all, the Merchant said so!  The affiliate puts all of his or her energy into promoting, advertising and generally getting the word out there about this wonderful product.  In the end, the Merchant is a Scam!  You didn’t do all your homework and found out that 99% of people that got involved with this Merchant were burned! Sometimes the Merchants will shut down their business and walk off with the profits and the affiliate is left in the lurch with the consumer!  Even with the disadvantages, I believe that the majority of Merchants and Affiliates are honest people trying to move a product, service or opportunity.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate Marketing is promoting Internet Businesses.  An Affiliate Marketer is actually an Individual Advertising Firm.  He or she is rewarded for visitors, subscribers and purchasers through their work.  Affiliate Marketers are Paid a Commission for bringing in sales for a particular business’s product.  Compensation is based on a certain “value” deemed by the owner of the product.

From a Merchant’s point of view, No Sale – No Commission.  Also, the Affiliate Marketer is a lot less expensive then a full blown advertising firm!  Some vendors use third party services to bring in the Marketers – i.e. Clickbank.  They also use these sites to track sales that are referred by the affiliates.  Many of these Merchants also offer their own affiliate program.  Many will agree that their growth and success is made possible because of Affiliates!

Affiliate marketing is the single fastest growing and most creative ways to make money on the Internet.

The Internet is constantly changing, and so is the “Hottest” Niche at any given time.  Due to a sinking economy, one of the most sought after products is Making Money From Home!  People are losing their jobs in record numbers, they need work!

Other fast growing niches are other Marketing venues, cell phones, entertainment, pets, diet and health products and travel.

The New Affiliate Marketer can run into problems when they try to put the cart before the horse.  In other words instead of starting at the beginning, they want to start at the end.  Making Money is at the End of the process, but You Must Start at the Beginning.

Is There A Demand For Affiliate Marketers?

Yes, there is a Huge Demand for Affiliate Marketers.  Although, Affiliates will run into  “it sounds too good to be true”  Given Guarantees that are highly unlikely, etc.  Said the same, some affiliates will become too over zealous and exaggerate on products.  Don’t Do It!  It will come back to haunt you.  As huge as the Internet is, it is still a small community and word gets around.

As long as you do your research and test the waters, you will find good products that will give you nice commissions. Nearly all marketers agree that affiliates are a valuable part of online marketing.  Affiliates are like the Town Crier – they give out information to the public that drives traffic to the Merchant.

The Need Tools For Affiliate Marketing:

Get An Autoresponder:

Earn Money by Taking Surveys

Paid Surveys At Home

I spent sometime on this site and was quite impressed with the professionalism, communication level and overall customer care that they offer.

Paid Surveys At Home has been in business since 2004.  They offer their members hundreds of paid surveys, focus groups, and other “get paid to” and work at home opportunities. Taking surveys is a fun way to make money online that anybody can do from the comfort of their home.

“Your Opinion is Worth Diamonds to Large Corporations…
…and They’re Ready to Pay You for It!”

They will teach you how to make money with just an Internet Connection, Your Spare Time and an “Opinion”!

Companies are realizing that telemarketing just doesn’t work anymore.  They are ready to pay you for for your opinions/thoughts… and they pay well!  A click of the mouse puts money in your account.  It can range from $10-$40 for just 15-20 minutes of your time. So why not earn money by taking surveys for these companies at home?

There are no special skills required -

No Targets to Meet
No Website Costs
No Stock to Carry
No unnecessary Overheads and No Financial Risk!

I spent some time on this site and found this to be an extremely legitimate work at home, survey site!  Their site is professionally designed. It’s overall professionalism, customer contact and communication are excellent. Their Membership is $39.95

Instant Lifetime Access to their members area contains:

1. Over 450 Companies offering Paid Surveys at Home.
2. FREE BONUS: “Get Paid to Shop & Eat!”
3. FREE BONUS: “Get Paid to Drive!”
4. FREE BONUS: “Over 300 Additional Work at Home Opportunities!”

No Risk Involved

They really want you to be confident and comfortable when you sign up!  Therefore, immediately after you sign up, you can test it out!

Now This is Really Significant:

Your Membership Is Not Final  Until You’re Satisfied!  You can take up to 8 weeks to decide!

They have members from all over the world with some very respectful percentages. This also tells you that members are sticking around! Members only stick around sites that they feel are making a difference in their lives! Age groups, income levels and education vary enormously on Paid Surveys At Home. They have a very diversified group of members!

The Paid-Surveys-at-Home program is currently being offered for $39.95.  This is a similar price to many other paid survey programs.  The program does offer a good value for those who want to earn money taking surveys and participating in focus groups and who do not have time to locate the companies who will pay them.  For clients who are able to make some extra money each month the one time fee is a good value.  The value is also to a person’s time.  They do not need to spend time searching for pad to programs, since this work has already been done for members.”
- Paid Surveys at Home Review

I recommend this business very highly to anyone looking for a survey niche to earn some extra money.
